Microsoft is going public with the results of its operating system Pepsi Challenge. The software giant asked XP-using Vista nay-sayers in San Francisco to try out an all-new alternative to its much maligned OS: Windows Mojave.
The company invited 120 users of popular operating systems like Mac, Linux, XP and Windows 2000 who were against Vista to come and test the operating system, the coup was that the operating system they tested was actually Vista disguised as a new Operating system named Mojave.
The results have just been announced and it seems as though these same Vista users who gave the Vista operating system an average rating of 4.4 out of 10 have given the Mojave operating system an average 8.5 out of 10.
Mojave was run on a simple HP Pavilion DV 2000 with 2GB RAM, still the reviews of Mojave were favourable.

If you are using Windows Vista then you probably have already seen the new relationship between Vista and Internet Explorer 7. But why is using IE7 on Vista so much better than other browsers with XP;
Better security protection
IE7 offers dynamic security protection with Vista which provides a much safer arena for you to surf the web with no fear of being attacked, it also offers Parental Controls and Protected Mode settings to keep your family safe as well.
Better platform for web development
IE 7 offers much better support for cascading style sheets (CSS), a rich RSS feeds platform, and robust tools for deploying and managing Internet Explorer 7 in enterprise environments.
Way better looking interface
If you are into much sleeker/cleaner looking software than you will love IE7 in Vista, it offers the user a new look to minimize the number of toolbars you need while maximizing the amount of screen space devoted to the webpages you care about. I’m sure if you just navigate around a bit you will notice the massive appearance change in IE 7 on Vista.
So basically if you have installed Windows Vista and you are worrying about what browser to use I would suggest right away to get onto IE 7 and just browse around, you will love it!

Uninstalling program in Windows Vista is very similar to doing it on XP just with a few minor changes.
The main difference you will find is that the Add/Remove programs feature is missing from your control panel, but it has been replaced with a new feature. To uninstall any program in your Windows Vista just follow these points;
- Open your control panel
- Click on programs and features (you can alternatively open this by clicking uninstall or change a program in the Computer section)
- Here you can scroll through all your programs and select the one you want to uninstall
- Click uninstall and follow the prompts
- Done
In this section you can also browse through your installed updates and even purchase new programs.
