Below is a list of most of the command line functions that are available in Windows Vista. The majority of these also work in Windows XP.

| choice | Prompts the user to select one item from a list of single-character choices in a batch program, and then returns the index of the selected choice |

| cmd | Starts a new instance of the Windows command interpreter |
